| Exclusive for Charlotte Latin students! You are invited to join us on a 5- day trip in June to the Morehead City/ Cape Lookout area for amazing field trips! Activities include dredging and trawling from a Duke University Marine Lab vessel where we will see squid, stingrays, fish, sharks, and sea squirts. We will enjoy a guided tour of the Rachel Carson Estuarine Research Reserve where we will see wild horses and find sand dollars. You will look forward to the ferry ride to Cape Lookout. We also will explore a maritime forest, visit the newly renovated N.C. Aquarium, and spend time on the beach at Ft. Macon State Park. We camp at the Croatan National Forest Cedar Point Campground. Our activities on the North Carolina coast are in Morehead City, Beaufort, Atlantic Beach, and Cape Lookout. We will travel in a CLS minibus. |
