| Sharp shooters have skills and have mastered the fundamentals of technique. Anthony Morrow is a sharp shooter! Morrow, a former Georgia Tech all-star and a standout alumnus of Charlotte Latin Hawks, will be hosting the 2012 Anthony Morrow Sharp Shooters Basketball Camp at Charlotte Latin. This summer participants will experience and learn the fundamentals of the game with “sharp shooter” Anthony Morrow, shooting guard for the New Jersey Nets. The camp will offer a high impact atmosphere dedicated to improving the fundamentals of basketball and performance techniques. Players will attend drills and breakout sessions that will build and promote both individual and team concepts on and off the court. Sharp Shooters participants will get the chance to work up close and personal with Anthony and some of his NBA friends. Sharper Shooters camp members will not only receive the best in basketball technical training but they can also expect special guest appearances and guest speakers.

| This is a 3 day camp, June 14, 15, and 16 only. Bob Bertucci has directed one of the most successful camps in the country for 25 years. This camp allows an aspiring volleyball athlete the opportunity to be exposed to Coach Bertucci’s highly successful training methods. You will learn the proper fundamentals and techniques in this exciting 3-day program. College coaches and players will help you achieve major improvements in your performance. Athletes will be grouped according to ability levels. If you already play at an advanced level, this camp will move you to the top of your game.
Campers will need to bring sneakers, kneepads and a water bottle.

The three-day Chris Canty Camp of Champions Football Camp is committed to elevating the quality of youth football skills. It is a non-contact, fundamental football camp designed to improve a child’s beginning, intermediate, or advanced skill level. Fundamentals of all positions on offense, defense, and special teams will be taught in addition to life skills, such as teamwork, communication, sportsmanship, and the importance of education. | Dorcas Zeeso, The new Head Coach of Latin's Varsity Lacrosse program is offering a fun filled summer camp for all girls 4th -8th grade, interested in the game of lacrosse. A coach for the past 40 or so years, she brings a wealth of understanding of the value of FUN to the younger athlete. This camp will have skill development, competitive skill games and scrimmages, well interspersed with adequate breaks and fun prizes.
All novices are welcome. All need their own equipment. Stick, goggles, mouth guard. Girls will wear cleats outside but will need sneakers inside. Make sure your child brings water. |

Much of our time will be spent on Latin’s fields, cross-country course, and track, and we may also travel off campus to local parks to check out other running venues as well. Coach Tim Wilkison has played professionally for 25 years and is the top junior tennis coach in the state of NC and one of the top in the country. Coach Bob Currie has coached more than 30 high school seasons and has extensive tennis camp and clinic experience. Each boy will need to have his own lacrosse equipment (CLS will have some equipment on a first-come, first-serve basis). USA Softball is the brand created, operated and owned by the ASA that links the USA Men's, Women's, Junior Boys' and Junior Girls' National Team programs together. | The Charlotte Latin Pole Vault Camp is designed to teach students the proper skills and techniques necessary to learn the sport of pole vaulting with an emphasis on each of the following areas: safety, goal-setting, fitness, and sportsmanship. The camp is open to all students ages 12 and older, as well as to all ability levels, including those who have never vaulted before. Pole vaulting is a very technical event and this is a very good way to develop safe pole vaulting skills. Students attending the camp will gain greater knowledge and understanding of what they need to jump high. Pole vaulting is a unique and complex sport. Having fun in the learning process is a bonus to this sport.
The five-day session will teach students proper pole vault technique, drills, training, how to prepare for a competitive event, equipment selection, mental aspects, and video analysis. Campers will need to bring a vaulting pole, running shoes, track spikes, and sun screen as well as dress appropriately for outdoor activity. |

This program has been used to develop the current group of tennis professionals competing on the pro tour from the United States. Volleyball is such an exciting sport. Now you can learn all the skills necessary to play the game and have lots of fun doing it. Coach Pignetti is a Level 3 Certified Instructor and has conducted numerous volleyball camps for campers of all ages.
