Scholarship Application

Through generous gifts from a variety of donors and foundations, Charlotte Latin School is pleased to offer students who have strong academic records, exemplary citizenship in accordance with our core values, and a demonstrated financial need, the opportunity to apply for a scholarship to the School. Only students in grades 6 through 12 are eligible. (Latin accepts applications for 12th grade students only if their families are moving from out-of-town.)

To apply for a scholarship to Charlotte Latin, please submit this form and the Student's Personal Statement by February 15, 2012, to the Charlotte Latin School Admissions Office, 9502 Providence Road, Charlotte, North Carolina 28277.

Financial Aid Application

In order to initiate the scholarship or the financial aid application process, parents must complete the Student and School Services (SSS) Parent Financial Statement (PFS) for the 2012-2013 school year. Submit the original PFS to SSS by February 15, 2011. Submit a copy of the PFS with your 2010 1040 form to the Charlotte Latin School Financial Aid Office.

Personal Statement

On a separate sheet of paper, please write a 1 – 2 page essay that answers the following question:

What do you perceive to be the distinctive qualities of Charlotte Latin School and how are these significant for you?

Your response must be handwritten.
